Urvashi Rautela , Singh Saab The Great & A Poetic Justice

2

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           NOVEMBER 28 , 2013           07.10 P.M.

URVASHI RAUTELA ; Miss Universe India 2012 / Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2011 World / Miss Asian supermodel 2011 / Miss Teen India 2009

All the above mentioned titles belong to Urvashi Rautela , my student , who just made her debut in ” Singh Saab The Great “ opposite Sunny Deol . The movie is directed by Anil Sharma , who earlier made Gadar – Ek Prem Katha ” [ 2001 ] .

Urvashi Rautela - Batch No. 68

Urvashi Rautela – Batch No. 68

She was sent to me by Rikku ji and joined my acting institute in November 2012 and was in batch no. 68 . When she joined , she was on the verge of signing the film ” Singh Saab The Great ” . There was no time for the stipulated 4 months course . She had just 2 months . So I told her to attend morning and evening both the batches . To my amazement, she did that dutifully and completed the course . Sun or rain she used to come for the class religiously and worked hard , worked very diligently .

Batch No. 68

Batch No. 68

When shooting started she got busy in that . In November 2013 I read that the film is complete and one day suddenly I got the message and was given a link of the title song of her film . I watched the song and was greatly impressed . It was spectacular .

Last week she invited me for the trial of her film ” Singh Saab The Great “ at Sunny Super Sound . I watched the film and liked it . I was particularly impressed by her bewitching screen presence and confident acting . She was opposite Sunny Deol and she is much younger also , still there was no trace of nervousness or discomfort .

” Singh Saab The Great “ got released on November 22 , 2013 and got positive reviews . I am posting relevant tweet from the twitter-handle of trade analyst Taran Adarsh :

#SSTG review: Clapworthy dialogue, undercurrent of emotions should appeal to those who relish desi fares! http://www.bollywoodhungama.com/moviemicro/criticreview/id/549451 …

To know about Urvashi Rautela , you can click the above mentioned link and read about her debut making film and about her performance .

Along with ” Singh Saab The Great “ another big film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein was also released on the same date . But that Karan Johar film was rejected by the critics and public alike . ” Singh Saab The Great “ had only Sunny Deol while ” Gori Tere Pyaar Mein “ had Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan . Punit Malhotra directed this film , while the music was provided by Vishal-Shekhar . Karan Johar’s name was also associated with the film .

Incidentally Kareena Kapoor , Imran Khan , Punit Malhotra ( Director ) and Shekhar Ravjiani ( Music Director Vishal-Shekhar ) of ” Gori Tere Pyaar Mein “ are my students too . I was praying for their success also . But ” Singh Saab The Great “ is special to me and will always remain special because it stars Urvashi Rautela . She is the first student of VIDUR ACTING INSTITUTE  to hit the Hindi Film World . I am not obliged or forced to share her success with anyone else .

For any newcomer , success of the debut film is very important . I don’t want to brag about the collections of ” Singh Saab The Great “ . I would only post few postings from a website : http://www.koimoi.com :

1 – Singh Saab The Great : 1st Friday Box Office Collections

November 24th, 2013 by Koimoi.com Team

Singh Saab The Great on its opening day at the box office kicked off with a good start, better than this Friday’s other release [ Gori Tere Pyaar mein ] . Mainly a single screen film, the film on its 1st Friday made an earning in the range of 5.50 crores to 6 crores, as per early estimates.

The film with great mass value fared the best in U.P, Delhi and Punjab circuits. Being set in the same region, the reliability factor will work in the favor. Though the film’s performance was dismal in Southern states and Bengal, good performance in Bihar, Rajasthan and C.I will help the film’s box office tempo.

2 – Singh Saab The Great : 1st Saturday Box Office Collections

November 24th, 2013 by Koimoi.com Team

Singh Saab The Great on its 1st Saturday showed a marginal pick up at the box office. According to early estimates, the film earned in the range of 10 crores to 12 crores on Saturday. While the film’s first day performance wasn’t exemplary, this one was specifically fashioned keeping in mind tastes of single screen audiences. The film has so far earned in the range of 15 crores to 17 crores at the domestic box office. Though the official figures are still being compiled, the numbers will remain in the same range.

Anil Sharma and Sunny Deol’s association has always worked wonders at the box office. This time too, the duo have tried to create magic by keeping the film simple and impactful. Though the box office performance of the film won’t be mesmeric, it will surely be on the better side.

3 – Singh Saab The Great : 1st Weekend Box Office Collections

November 25th, 2013 by Koimoi.com Team

Singh Saab The Great made 16.25 Crores on its first weekend at the domestic box office. The movie has done pretty well compared to the other release this weekend Gori Tere Pyaar Mein!

The movies daily breakdown for the 1st weekend is as follows:

Friday: 5.50 Crores

Saturday: 5 Crores

Sunday: 5.75 Crores

With Sunny Deol’s brilliant stunt execution on-screen, the film has a rustic appealing flavor to it which is making it ring with most in mass-based circuits of Punjab, U.P, Delhi-NCR, C.I-Berar and even Rajasthan. Though the film failed dismally in the Southern States as well as West Bengal, it can be expected to hold on well on the weekdays for its popularity in the single screens.

4 – Singh Saab The Great : 1st Monday Box Office Collections

November 26th, 2013 by Koimoi.com Team

Singh Saab The Great on its 1st Monday at the box office saw a customary weekday drop in its numbers. The film which has been faring substantially well so far went on to make 2.75 crores on its 1st Monday. Now, the film’s domestic total rests at 19 crores after the lapse of four days at the box office.

Being a mass catering venture, Singh Saab The Great scored over the other release because of its great hold over single screens. Performing well in many circuits, the film’s primary target at the moment will be recovering its investment from the box office.

======================================

6 – Singh Saab The Great : 1st Tuesday Box Office Collections

1 hour ago by Koimoi.com Team

Singh Saab The Great on its 1st Tuesday again witnessed a 10% drop in its numbers as it made only 2 crores at the box office. With that the film’s total domestic collections now rests at 21 crores at the domestic box office.

Though the film saw a decent beginning, trade insiders were hopeful that due to Sunny Deol‘s presence and the film’s strong ability to ring with the single screen audiences, the film will fare well. However, Singh Saab The Great could not soar up to its expected amount because of the overpowering performance of Ramleela remained consistent in both single screens and multiplexes even in its second week.

================================================

The film was made with a moderate budget of 30 crores . And it garnered 21 crores in just 5 days . It is on the verge of becoming a moderate hit .

Singh Saab The Great : daily breakdown for the 1st weekend is as follows:

Friday : 5.50 Crores

Saturday : 5.00 Crores

Sunday : 5.75 Crores

Monday : 2.75 Crores

Tuesday : 2.00 Crores

Now, the film’s domestic total rests at 21.00 crores .

=============================================

As an acting trainer / acting tutor I am proud and feeling happy for Urvashi Rautela . Apart from her , ” Singh Saab The Great “ , has 2 more students of mine . They are Alan Kapoor and Asseem Merchant . Co-producer of the film Dhaval Gada is also my student . But as I said earlier , Urvashi Rautela is the fist student of my new dispensation . I am very happy for her and satisfied with the results .

I am also satisfied and happy because ” Singh Saab The Great “ did offer some poetic justice to my detractors . Some upstarts , who never miss a chance to denigrate me , always make false , fake , preposterous and misleading claims about their non-existent and imaginary success . With , ” Singh Saab The Great “ I celebrate the debut of its leading lady and main female protagonist Urvashi Rautela , who is my student and with the same film , they , the GAALI GURUS  of Facebook Acting School , are celebrating 2 blink-and-miss roles of their students . It is poetic justice . It is God’s way of showing them their place under the sun . The repositories of  the ” craft ” , the crafty craftsmen have fallen flat . I congratulate GAALI GURUS  for their blink and miss success . May they always achieve such negligible milestones !

The Date November 22 , 2013 , The Film , ” Singh Saab The Great “ and The New Star on the Horizon Urvashi Rautela will always be etched in my mind till my last breath .

” Singh Saab The Great “ settles down dust and makes matter clear . Since the release of , ” Singh Saab The Great “ there is virtual deluge of old students to my new office . They must have watched the writing on the wall .

Insignia of Brand VIDUR

On behalf of all the students and staff of VIDUR Acting Institute , which is known as Vidur’s Kreating Charakters  , I congratulate Urvashi Rautela for her debut and success .

VIDUR Editing Studio , VIDUR Club and VIDUR Theatre would also like to wish her well in her glorious journey ahead .

May she shine radiantly and reach the zenith of stardom .

The Telegraph’s Lie About Narendra Modi Exposed

DSC01182

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           NOVEMBER 15 , 2013           02.00 P.M.

This is not an original blog written by me . In fact this is not a blog at all . I follow Shri Kiran Kumar ji on twitter . I read few of his postings about Shri Narendra Modi‘s Patna speech in Hunkar Rally . I knew that some canard is being spread and facts are twisted and concocted by vested interests . I wanted to write about the facts and the canards . But it was taking time , as my son met with an accident and I was in and out of the hospital most of the time . So my blog remained incomplete .
Suddenly I read these tweets and thought it proper to copy / paste them on my blog space . Therefore these 4 / 5 tweets are taken from the twitter-handle of Shri Kiran Kumar ji and are being quoted here .
I express my gratitude to Shri Kiran Kumar ji . I also express regrets for not taking his prior permission . I hope I will be forgiven .
Readers can go through it and find out what Shri Narendra Modi actually said in the Hunkar Rally of Patna and what is being spread by paid media . I denounce Shri Shankarshan Thakur for twisting the facts and spreading it for the convenience of his political masters . This is nothing less than professional misconduct . It is shame for a journalist .

I hope these tweets will make picture clear and discerning public can judge the facts , which Shri Narendra Modi really said and the fiction and canard , which the paid media is deliberately and mischievously spreading on the orders of their masters .

I express shock and dismay that in the age of social media activism , such kind of canards can be cooked up and dished out by unscrupulous elements of paid media .

Pages from Life : Albert Einstein

IMG_7992

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           NOVEMBER 11 , 2013           07.05 P.M.

I read this excellent posting by Ms. SUNITA DIXIT . I liked it immensely and decided to introduce one more category named ” Pages From Life ” in my blog space and keep on posting such information , which are available on internet .

This the first blog in this new category .

In 1902, a professor asked his student whether it was God who created everything that exists in the universe ?

Student replied : Yes

He again asked : what about evil ?

Has God created evil also ?

The student got silent….

Then the student requested that may he ask a question for him ?

Professor allowed him to do so.

He asked : Does cold exist ?

Professor said : yes ! Dont you feel the cold dear .

Student said : I’m sorry but you are wrong sir.

Cold is a complete absence of heat..

There is no cold, it is only an absence of heat.

Student asked again : Does darkness exist ?

Professor said : yes !

Student replied : You are again wrong sir.

There is no such thing like darkness.

It’s actually the absence of light. Sir ! We always study light & heat, but not cold & darkness.

Similarly, the evil does not exist.

Actually it is the absence of love, faith & true belief in God.

” Cook It Up With Tarla Dalal ” : The Last Dish

img_8024

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           NOVEMBER 10 , 2013           06.35 P.M.

Tarla Dalal

1936 – 6 November 2013

India‘s first celebrity chef , noted food writer , the first prolific Cook Book author of repute , first Cookery Show anchor and a specialist in vegetarian dishes , who left a rich legacy of staggering 17,000 recipes , Tarla Dalal died of cardiac arrest on November 06 , 2013 in Mumbai at the age of 77 years .

Tarla Dalal

Tarla Dalal

She arrived on the culinary landscape 40 years ago . It was much before television reached most parts of India and became an integral part of our lives . Almost 40 years before the omnipresent television , she arrived on the scene with a bang with her first book ” The Pleasures of Vegetarian Cooking ” . It was published in 1974 and became best – selling book . She , though , started her career by taking cooking classes in 1966 .

It contains over 250 delicious recipes that are practical, quick and easy.

Recipes included are:
Mint Julep / Frosty Fruit Ale / Leek Soup / Sunshine Salad / Spring Rolls / Moughlai Cauliflower / Biryani / Lasagne Verdi / Lemon Ice Cream / Orange Gateau / Chocolate Eclairs

Since then she has written over 100 books and sold more than 3 million books . She also runs the largest Indian food web site , and published a bi-monthly magazine  ” Cooking & More ” .

Though she wrote about many cuisines and healthy cooking , she specialized in Indian cuisine , particularly Gujarati cuisine .

She was the first to host a TV show on cooking . ” Tarla Dalal Show ” and ” Cook It Up With Tarla Dalal “ on Sony Entertainment Television are her two most notable cooking shows . The last-named weekly show ran for 3 years on Sony TV . Her cooking show is broadcast all over South East Asia, India, the Gulf, the United Kingdom and United States of America.

7

She was awarded the Padma Shri by Government of India in 2007 . She was also awarded Women of the Year by Indian Merchants’ Chamber in 2005 .

Awarded Padma Shri by President Kalam

Awarded Padma Shri by President Kalam

I came to know about her through Sudhanshu Pandey . He was the co-anchor of her show  ” Cook It Up With Tarla Dalal “ . He is my student and he told me about the show . I started watching the show and gradually became familiar with Tarla Dalal .

Then I saw some books written by her in various book stores . I browsed through them . Such books are normally dull and boring . Tarla Dalal had unique distinction of making even cooking book interesting . I , since then , became an ardent fan .

2

It is noteworthy that she did all this , much before the advent of Sanjeev Kapoor , the current favourite . Sanjeev Kapoor stars in the cooking TV show Khana Khazana , which is the longest running show of its kind in Asia . But Tarla Dalal did all this much before him and that too without the help of all-pervading , all-intrusive television . She is the pioneer . She is the first flag-bearer .

Much before the arrival of Vir Sanghavi , the celebrated food writer , she started writing about food . I like Vir Sanghavi’s column ” Rude Food ” in Sunday Hindustan Times Cafe and read it religiously . But Tarla Dalal is my first favourite because she started it first . She heralded a new path . She chose to travel on the unbeaten track . Without any clear leader to follow , she chose to take a road less travelled . Only Madhur Jaffery was on the culinary scene before her . Therefore Tarla Dalal deserves our appreciation for this feat .

3

It is not for nothing that she commanded unprecedented popularity among the masses . Her feat is unparalleled , her success unprecedented .

VIDUR Editing Studio , VIDUR Club and VIDUR Theatre also express grief and offer tribute .

May her soul rest in peace ! Her demise is the big loss of the culinary world of India .

Reshma Ji !! ………… Lambi Judaai …. !!

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           NOVEMBER 08 , 2013           05.25 P.M.

A Young Reshma

A Young Reshma

Reshma

1947 – November 03 , 2013

Popular folk singer of Pakistan , Sitara – E – Imtiaz Reshma died in Lahore on November 03 , 2013 . She was only 66 years old at the time of her death . She was suffering from throat cancer .

She was born in Bikaner , Rajasthan in a Banjara family . Her tribe migrated to Pakistan after partition and settled in Karachi , when she was just one year old .

With no formal training in music , she , during her childhood , used to sing at the mazars of Sufi saints of Sindh . She was spotted singing ” Laal Meri ………………… “ at the shrine of Shahbaz Qalander at the age of 12 by a radio producer . The producer arranged recording of this song . She became a national sensation in Pakistan , when she sang ” Laal Meri ………………… “ on Pakistan Radio in 1959 .

Apart from , “Dama Dam Mast Kalandar ……………………………. “, her other famous songs are ; “Hai O Rabba nahion lagda dil mera ……………….”, “Sun charkhe di mithi mithi cook mahiya meinu yaad aunda ………………….”, “Wey main chori chori ………………………………..”, and “Ankhiyan nu rehen de ankhyan de kol kol ……………………………”.

She sang some famous numbers for Hindi films also .

Her famous and hit song “Ankhiyan nu rehn de ankhyan de kol kol ……….” was used by Raj Kapoor in ” Bobby ” [ 1973 ] . Hindi version is “Ankhyon ko rehne de ankhyon ke aas pass ………………….”. In the film it was sung by Lata Mangeshkar .

Subhash Ghai used her voice in the film ” Hero ” [ 1983 ] , which featured one of her most famous songs , “Chaar Dinaa Daa Pyaar O Rabbaa ………. , Lambi Judai ……………………… “.

I became acquainted with Reshma ji’s voice when I heard ” Lambi Judaai ………….. ” , the song from ” Hero ” [ 1983 ] . It is unfortunately strange that I first heard Dama Dam Mast Qalandar ……………. ” in Runa Laila‘s voice . I liked the song . Years later when I heard the original in Reshma ji’s voice , I was mesmerized . After that it was sheer admiration for her untrained , rustic , sweet and beautiful voice .

I was shocked beyond belief when I heard about her death . One more icon of my growing years , one more familiar face of my adolescent age , one more eternal personality , which fascinated me beyond words , is gone forever .

I am posting few photos of her’s . I never realized that she is drastically changing with time . Her beautiful , rustic face was slowly getting full of wrinkles . And alas ! you can find her frail , incapacitated , lifeless body in a bed in the hospital . She spent last one month of her life in coma .

May her soul rest in peace ! She very aptly sang , ” Chaar Dina Da Pyaar O Rabba , Lambi Judaai …………………….. ” . But alas ! It is not Lambi Judai , It is Hamesha Ki Judaai .

Her earthy , rustic and beautiful voice is now silent . Sweetness of ” Char Dina Da Pyaar …………………… ” is lost and it is lost forever .

Vidur’s Film Diary – October 2013

2.jpg
MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           NOVEMBER 07 , 2013           01.45 P.M.
Month of October 2013 will always be infamously known and remembered for ” Besharam “ , a Ranbir Kapoor film , which is the biggest ever Hindi film release till date with over 3000 prints . It is also Ranbir Kapoor’s biggest flop till date . It is said to be the desi version of Lock , Stock And Two Smoking Barrels ” .
” Boss “ , a Akshay Kumar film , also bombed at the box office . Towards the end of the month , 05 films got released but they all failed to make mark in any way .
It is sad and unfortunate that 5 luminaries of Hindi film world left us for their heavenly abode this month . It made this month more gloomy and melancholic .

Prabodh Chandra Dey a.k.a. Manna Dey

1 May 1919  −  24 October 2013

The news of Manna Dey’s death was almost a certainty and was expected . Advancing age and failing health had prepared us for such an eventuality . Still when I read about his demise , a pall of gloom engulfed me . He died on October 24 , 2013 in Bengaluru at the age of 94 .

Manna Dey , along with Mohammad Rafi , Mukesh , Kishore Kumar , Talat Mehmood and Hemant Kumar , was the most important play back singer of the golden era of Hindi films and a force to reckon with in singing world . With his demise , the last remnant of the golden era of Hindi film music and a gigantic figure among the male play back singers of Hindi film world is gone forever .

Before proceeding further , I must admit my blasphemy that initially I used to dislike his singing . Today as I can understand the nuances of music , I am ashamed of my blasphemy and I am extremely sorry that during my adolescent years , I was unable to appreciate his mastery of the art and craft . The first song of Manna Dey , which I liked and appreciated was the iconic ” Qasme Waade Pyaar Wafa , Sab Baaten Hain Baaton Kaa Kyaa ………………………………………. ” , the song from Manoj Kumar’s ” Upkar ” [ 1967 ] . I was speechless and stunned while listening the song and watching Pran Saheb on screen . It is uncanny that Pran Saheb and his screen voice in many films , Manna Da , both died in 2013 . Pran Saheb left us on July 12 , 2013 and just 3 months 12 days later , his voice on-screen , Manna Da also left us on October 24 , 2013 .

Later on when I started watching old Hindi films in Allahabad in Sunday morning shows , I watched ” Shri 420 ” [ 1955 ] , I was hooked to his voice . ” Pyaar Hua Iqraar Hua , Phir Pyaar Se Ab Kyon Darta Hai Dil …………………………… ” , ” Dil Ka Haal Sune Dilwaalaa …………………………… ” , ” Mud Mud Ke Na Dekh ………………………. ” and the evergreen ” Ramaiya Vastavaiya ……………… “ are difficult to forget .

After watching ” Chori Chori ” [ 1956 ] , I was mesmerized by his voice . His duets with Lata Mangeshkar are immortal and they are pure gems . ” Aajaa Sanam , Madhur Chandni Men Ham ……………………………….. ” and ” Ye Raat Bheegi Bheegi , Ye Mast Fizayen …………………………………… “ refuse to fade away from my memory even after 57 years .

Who can forget his other immortal melodies like ; ” Ae Mere Pyare Watan …………… ” , ” Ik Chatur Naar Karke Singar ………………………………. ” , ” Poochho Na Kaise Maine Rain Bitayee ………………………………………. ” , ” Aao Twist Karen ………………………………………………. ” , ” Yaari Hai Eemaan Meraa …………………………………….. ” and ” Ye Dosti Ham Nahin Chhodenge ……………………………………. ” ?

Known by his stage name Manna Dey , he debuted in the film ” Tamanna ” [ 1942 ] , and continued to sing till ” Umar ” [ 2006 ] . He went on to record more than 4000 songs during 1942 – 2013 . He , though sang for other heroes occasionally , was the voice of Raj Kapoor , Uttam Kumar , Mehmood and Pran .

Since 1992, Manna Dey withdrew himself from Hindi film music. But he continued to sing in Bengali movies, bhajans and ghazals in different languages and appeared in live performances during 1992 to 2012 . His last live performance was in 2012 in Mumbai. His last recorded song in Hindi films was for the film Umar in 2006 composed by Shamir Tandon, Duniyawaalo Kee Nahee Kuchh Bhee Khabar, which he sang along with Kavita Krishnamoorthy and Sonu Nigam.

He sang duets with singers like Mukesh, Sandhya Mukherjee, Mahendra Kapoor, Talat Mahmood, Amit Kumar, Shailendra Singh, Krishna Kalle, Shardha Rajan Iyengar, Arati Mukherjee, Chandrani Mukherjee, Anuradha Pudwal, Hemlata, Minu Purushottom, Bhupinder Singh, K.J. Yesudas, Suresh Wadkar, Kavita Krishnamoorty, Alka Yagnik, Antara Chowdhury, Preeti Sagar, Dilraj Kaur, Yunus Fazmi, Jaspal Singh, Anwar, Manhar Udhas, Joginder and Mubarak Begum.

He worked with more than 102 music directors in Hindi film industry from working with Krishna Chandra Dey in ” Tamanna ” [ 1942 ] to music composer Shamir Tandon in ” Umar ” [ 2006 ] . Thus it was an unprecedented 64 years – long – singing – career .

The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri in 1971, the Padma Bhushan in 2005 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2007 . He was presented the Filmfare Life Time Achievement Award in 2011.

Manna Da sang mainly in Hindi and Bengali; he also recorded songs in several other Indian languages .

Music career in other languages

  • He sang around 1262 songs in Bengali : 611 songs in Bengali films and 356 Bengali non-film songs . He also sang 46 Rabindra Sangeet Songs in Bengali , 3 Dwigendra Geet , 84 Shyama Sangeet , 23 songs in Akashvani , 3 title songs for Bengali TV serials , 103 Bengali songs from non-released Bengali films and 33 Bengali songs of other varieties .
  • He sang 35 film songs in Bhojpuri , 2 songs in Magadh and one song in Maithili language .
  • He sang 13 Punjabi film songs and 5 non-film songs .
  • He sang 2 songs in Assamese films and 4 non-film songs in Assamese language .
  • He sang 7 songs in Oriya language and 1 song each in Konkani film and Sindhi film .
  • He sang 85 songs in Gujrathi films.
  • He sang 55 Marathi songs in Marathi films and 15 non-film songs in Marathi .He was good at Marathi natya sangeet too, which is one of the most difficult genres to sing
  • He sang 5 film songs in Kannada .
  • He sang in the Nepali movie ” Maitighar “
  • He sang 2 in Malayalam – “Maanasamaine Varoo” from 1965 film Chemmeen and song “Chemba Chemba” from 1974 film Nellu sung with P Jayachandran both composed by Salil Chowdhary and lyrics by Vayalar.

Insignia of Brand VIDUR

On behalf of all the students and staff of VIDUR Acting Institute , which is known as Vidur’s Kreating Charakters  , I offer my condolences to his family . My heart goes to his daughters and other near and dear ones .

VIDUR Editing Studio , VIDUR Club and VIDUR Theatre would also like to offer tribute . It is clichéd to say but there will never be another Manna Dey . He bestrode the Hindi film music world like a colossus but unfortunately never got his due .

May his soul rest in peace !

[ Some of the information and the long list of his songs are being quoted from Wikipedia . I express my debt and gratitude . ]
