MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA OCTOBER 28, 2012 10.45 P.M.
On this Sunday evening , while going through bunch of news papers , which I subscribe , I found an interesting write-up in Bombay Times of Times Of India . It was about ” TIMES CELEBEX ” . This is first ever ranking index of Hindi film stars . Since it is done by Times of India and is powered by Zoom , it has to be quite authentic .
In Hindi film industry , or in any film industry of the world in general , fortunes change every Friday , when the new films hit the screen in theatres . So fixing the rating and ranking is not an easy task . But since it is done by Times of India and as per their claim it is ” most definitive and scientific ranking system ……….. robust ranking system based on data collected from 200+ publications and 250+ TV channels ……………” , one has to believe and take note of this list .
List of The Actors As Per Their Ranking :
====================================
1 – Salman Khan
2 – Akshay Kumar
3 – Shah Rukh Khan
4 – Ranbir Kapoor
5 – Amitabh Bachchan
6 – Emraan Hashmi
7 – Ajay Devgn
8 – Saif Ali Khan
9 – Aamir Khan
10 – Hritik Roshan
Out of these 10 actors , I can say it with pride that 4 are my students . They are ; Ranbir Kapoor , Emraan Hashmi , Saif Ali Khan and Hritik Roshan . They rank 4th , 6th , 8th and 10th respectively .
List of The Actresses As Per Their Ranking :
=========================================
1 – Kareena Kapoor
2 – Katrina Kaif
3 – Priyanka Chopra
4 – Bipasha Basu
5 – Aishwarya Rai
6 – Sonakshi Sinha
7 – Vidya Balan
8 – Deepika Padukone
9 – Anushka Sharma
10 – Asin
Out of these 10 actresses , 3 are my students . They are ; Kareena Kapoor , Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra . They rank 1st , 2nd and 3rd respectively .
Anushka Sharma , who stands at 9th position , is also my student . But as I have stated earlier she refuses to acknowledge that she was trained by me , so I don’t think it would be ethical to take any credit .
It is heartening for an Acting Trainer that his 7 students are present in the list of 20 high-ranking stars . It comes to 1/3 share . Barring Mr. Roshan Taneja no other Acting Trainer of Mumbai can claim to have this kind of illustrious list . Any Acting Trainer of India would give his right or left arm to get such successful students .
I congratulate all the 7 students on behalf of me and my Acting Institute Vidur’s Kreating Charakters . Vidur’s Kreating Charakters family is proud of their achievement .
May they grow in stature and may their success and fame be everlasting !
